GigaCon IT Security Management conference

The GigaCon IT Security Management conference will be held on 13 November 2012 at the Novotel Airport hotel in Warsaw. The organizer of the event is SW Konferencje.

At the conference, participants will have an opportunity to learn about such issues as:

  • Security norms, guidelines and audits, design and evaluation of security measures, and information security management systems
  • Risk analysis and management, and the role of the human factor in security management
  • Security policy, including policies against viruses and Trojan horses.

The event is designed for personnel from the public and private sectors, particularly:

  • Management boards and IT directors
  • Lawyers, auditors and analysts
  • Network system administrators and staff responsible for IT security issues.

Our law firm will be represented by Gerard Karp, an attorney at law in the telecommunications and data protection teams, who will speak on legal risks of processing data in cloud-based applications.
