Eversheds Sutherland advised Arklyz Group AG on the acquisition of “The Athlete's Foot” franchise business from INTERSPORT International

    Arklyz Group AG (Arklyz), the owner of Intersocks Group, is acquiring 100% of The Athlete's Foot (TAF) retail and e-commerce network from global sporting goods retailer INTERSPORT International Corporation (IIC). The increased cooperation between Arklyz and IIC should result in future synergies and beneficial development for all parties involved.

    Arklyz will take over TAF's global business, including brand rights and all franchise agreements.
    “Building on the successful partnership between IIC and Arklyz’s subsidiary, Intersocks”, states Arklyz owner & CEO, Param Singh – “we are excited with this transaction, which represents an extraordinary opportunity for both Arklyz and TAF. By taking over the TAF business, we believe, we can strengthen our position as global organization”. He further adds “Eversheds Sutherland as our trusted legal and tax advisors supported Arklyz right from beginning through due diligence to closing of the transaction”.
