Eversheds Sutherland Switzerland strengthens its competencies in the area of accounting

    Eversheds Sutherland Switzerland is delighted to announce that Roland Ruprecht has entered into a collaboration with our firm as Of Counsel.

    Roland Ruprecht has over 30 years of professional experience as an auditor, including 20 years as a partner at a Big Four accounting firm. In this function, he was the lead partner for audits, mainly of listed companies as well as of major private companies. Early on, he specialized in international accounting (IFRS) and in the area of consolidated financial statements. He also acted as a consultant for various corporations, advising them on the conversion to IFRS and accompanied several capital market transactions (IPO, bonds).

    Roland Ruprecht holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration of the Bern University of Applied Sciences and is a Swiss/Liechtenstein Certified Accountant. During his time as a partner at the Big Four accounting firm, he also served as Head of the IFRS Desk and professional practice director (technical responsibility for auditing and accounting) for several years. He is a regular speaker at various seminars in the field of accounting and auditing.

    The arrival of Roland Ruprecht strengthens the range of our services and enables us to include not only tax but also accounting aspects in our advice in the future, namely in M&A transactions and restructurings.
