Practice notes
Victoria is an Associate in our Commercial group. She specialises in non-contentious commercial, IT and intellectual property.
Victoria has in-house experience having undertaken a four month technology secondment to a global cloud computing provider. She has also spent time on secondment to a recognised UK bank and a world leading UK University.
Victoria advises on a broad range of commercial matters for clients across a variety of sectors including TMT, Financial Services, Energy and Life Sciences. Her recent experience includes:
- drafting bespoke collaboration agreements for the research subsidiary of a multinational technology company;
- advising a market leading software provider in the financial services sector on software licensing in respect of its products that include open source software;
- reviewing and advising on software license agreements for a global bank in relation the licensing and use of market data;
- leading multi-jurisdictional compliance projects for clients including a global provider of cloud computing, an international supplier of pharmaceutical and healthcare products and a global medical technologies provider; and
- supporting GDPR remediation projects for clients in the financial services and TMT sectors.
Victoria also supports clients through M&A and corporate support work, providing commercial, IT and intellectual property advice and assistance in due diligence exercises.
