Practice notes

Richard is an associate in our Construction and Engineering team, specialising in transactional construction and engineering work.

He has experience in drafting and managing the delivery of standard form contracts and appointments. He also advises clients generally on contract procurement.

Richard also works closely with the Real Estate team on due diligence and identifying risks associated with construction contracts as affecting asset purchases.

Since qualification Richard’s experience includes acting for retail clients and commercial developers in drafting standard form contracts. He has also delivered bespoke framework contracts for a retail client in relation to fit outs of its retail units and has acted for a commercial developer, drafting contracts in line with the JCT form of building contract, as well as bespoke appointments for consultants and bespoke sub-contractor warranties.
