Brexit and the legal implications for businessesParm is a member of Eversheds Sutherland’s Industrials Sector which comprises of our industrial, chemical, automotive, defence and aerospace specialist sub-sectors. His role involves co-ordinating our approach to the large number of clients that we advise internationally in the Industrial Sector. Parm helps facilitate the sharing of know-how and best practice amongst our lawyers. The aim of our Industrials Sector is to increase our presence and market share by understanding client needs, their business and how we can add value to our advice.

Parm is the founding member of Eversheds Sutherland’s India Group and is currently Head of the Group. Parm and colleagues visit India regularly on trips to its main cities meeting our clients doing business in India and Indian companies looking to do business outside of India.

Parm regularly participates in "thought leadership" events, chairing panel discussions and hosting workshops on major issues affecting the Industrials Sector. Parm also speaks at international conferences on the opportunities available to foreign companies looking to invest into India and the challenges that those companies will face prior to and after making any investment.

Parm is the Operations Partner in our global accounts management team, Connect. This team manages global matters end-to-end: from opening the matter, recording the Record of Instruction and any Change of Scope to validating invoices against agreed fixed fees and making regular payments. The Team monitor progress of daily and monthly tasks against agreed KPI’s and ensure all client’s protocols are adhered to across the network of Eversheds Sutherland’s offices and relationship firms.

Parm is a member of the UK India Business Council and Governor at Birmingham City University.
