Siona is a Professional Support Lawyer supporting the Commercial Dispute Resolution teams with a focus on cross-border complex contractual disputes, litigation procedure and issues of privilege.

Prior to becoming a support lawyer, Siona specialised in contractual disputes within the life sciences, insurance and IT sectors. Her broad commercial work included cross-border shareholder disputes, director misfeasance claims, professional negligence and insolvency work. Her IT expertise included software licencing disputes, IP issues and blocking pirate websites. She also acted on a range of media disputes including defending defamation, privacy and copyright claims for a major broadcaster and advising on contempt of court, channel clearance and regulatory issues (including submissions to the Leveson Inquiry).

Siona spent two terms at the Court of Appeal as the Judicial Assistant to the Master of the Rolls and recently achieved an LLM with distinction in commercial law.

Prior to qualifying as a solicitor, Siona was a professional classical musician and performed frequently at the BBC Proms and Glyndebourne.
