Practice notes

Danguole works in the Company Commercial practice group in our Hamburg and Munich office.

She advises clients on all aspects of commercial and corporate law as well as on the sale and acquisition of companies. During the course of her career she has developed a special expertise in the areas of Corporate and M&A, Corporate Compliance, compliance in M&A transaction and W&I insurances.

Danguole is a guest lecturer and head of the modules "Compliance, Business Ethics and Alternative Dispute Resolution Mechanisms" at Hamburg School of Business Administration (HSBA).

She is a member of the Hanseatic Bar Association (Hanseatische Rechtsanwaltskammer) and of the German Bar Association (Deutscher Anwaltverein, DAV).

She studied law at Konstanz University, at Vilnius University (Lithuania) and at Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich (doctor juris). Before joining Eversheds Sutherland, she worked for renowned international law firms in Moscow, Munich and Hamburg.

Danguole's recent experience includes advising:

  • Knorr-Bremse on strategic investment in Israeli technology start-up RailVision
  • Hörmann Industries with indirect interest in euromicron AG via subsidiary Funkwerk AG
  • foreign companies, in particular from the Baltic region, Northern and Eastern Europe as well as China, on their market entry in Germany
  • an international listed company from the mining sector within the framework of a global internal investigation
  • an online retailer in the field of cosmetics on the acquisition of shares in a German group
  • insurance companies on risk assessments in connection with W&I insurances for cross-border M&A transactions
